Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2026

Cooper River Wine Company, LLC (“Cooper River,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Cooper River website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information You Provide

When you contact us through the website, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The subject and category of your inquiry
  • The contents of your message
  • Any other information you choose to provide

Please do not include sensitive personal or financial information in a general contact-form message.

This website does not currently collect payment-card information. Purchases and other transactions may be handled through a separate third-party website.

Information Collected Automatically

Our website hosting, security, and technical service providers may automatically receive limited technical information when you visit the site. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested pages, access times, and diagnostic information.

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website.

How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to questions, reservation requests, and other inquiries
  • Provide requested information or assistance
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website
  • Prevent spam, fraud, misuse, or security incidents
  • Maintain appropriate business records
  • Comply with applicable law and protect our rights

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Contact-Form Processing

Our contact form is processed through CloudCannon. When you submit the form, the information you provide is received in a CloudCannon form inbox and forwarded to our business email account.

CloudCannon and our other service providers may process information as reasonably necessary to provide hosting, form delivery, email, security, and related technical services to us. Their handling of information is also subject to their own privacy and security practices.

How We Share Information

We may share personal information:

  • With service providers that help us operate the website and communicate with you
  • When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request
  • To investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, or violations of our rights
  • In connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own targeted advertising.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Contact-form submissions are generally removed from our CloudCannon website inbox within 90 days. Forwarded email copies of resolved inquiries are generally deleted within 12 months.

If an inquiry becomes part of an ongoing reservation, order, event, business relationship, dispute, or other business record, relevant information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose or as required by law.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not currently use cookies or similar tracking technologies on this website for analytics, advertising, or behavioral profiling.

We also do not currently track visitors across unrelated websites for targeted advertising. Browser “Do Not Track” signals therefore do not change how this website operates.

If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice or choices where appropriate.

Third-Party Websites

The website may contain links to separately operated services, including an online store, mailing-list service, maps, event websites, or social-media platforms.

Information you provide directly to a third-party website is governed by that provider’s privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the applicable policy before submitting personal information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the information under our control. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to:

  • Ask what personal information we maintain about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of information that is no longer needed
  • Ask questions about our privacy practices

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We may also retain information when reasonably necessary or permitted by law.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.
